Writers include Sir James Risdon Bennett (1809-1891), Sir Charles Locock (1799-1875) on a folding pessary, Sir Thomas Watson (1792-1882), Benjamin Guy Babington (1794-1866), George Burrows (1801-1887), George Edward Paget (1809-1892) on a recently rediscovered manuscript of William Harvey's lectures at the British Museum, Sir Thomas Longmore (1816-1895) on sewerage at Swanage, John Addington Symonds (1840-1893) on a proposed santorium in Switzerland, Sir William Overend Priestley (1829-1900), and Richard Quain (1816-1898).
