Part of a series of programmes in which Jim Al-Khalili, Professor of Physics at Surrey University, talks to leading scientists about their life and work. This part features geneticist Paul Nurse. He describes how he first became interested in science as a boy. After an unconventional and not entirely successful start to his education, Nurse went on to be awarded the Nobel Prize in 2001 for his research into cell division.
