GMR talk : Wellcome Trust & Manchester University Cell Matrix Laboratory.

A new 3 million pound centre, providing state of the art laboratories for 100 scientists, will open in the School of Biological Sciences, Manchester University, today. Prof. Mike Grant explains that the Cell Matrix Laboratory will focus research on the cell matrix of connective tissue, cartilage, tendons and blood vessels. The govt has decreased research grants to universities, so Manchester University is particularly pleased to have this money from the Wellcome Trust.
