Biographical note
Christopher Storey graduated from the University of Oxford in 1944 with a degree in medicine. He then worked as a House Surgeon at Hammersmith Hospital and a Junior Medical Officer at Edgeware Hospital before becoming a General Practitioner. At the time of his retirement in 1984 he was senior partner in the Stokenchurch Practice, a group Practice in Buckinghamshire which included Hambleden Lane and Lane End Practices.
A Fellow and founder member of the Royal College of General Practitioners, Storey was also president of the Chiltern Medical Society. Additionally, between 1972 and 1980 he served as a GP Trainer, using his experience to help aspiring General Practitioners.
