He stands against a calibrated marker which measures his height as 5 feet and 3 inches. The proposal reads: "Je sens les fruits de tes carésses. Dans l'espérance que tu m'épousera a moins que je ne plaide contre ton inconstance je suis ta fidele Fanchon", signed with a burning heart
