About this work
Description
Research in the 1970's showed that African and Caribbean people were treated badly in the mental health system in Britain, often being diagnosed as schizophrenic and institutionalised or given drugs rather than counselling. Raj Persaud attempts, in this programme, to see what has changed over the last 30 years.
