About this work

Description

Quentin Cooper takes a very scientific view of how and why hypnosis might work. If it does work, why does it seem to be so much more potent with some people than others? How can we tell if someone is genuinly hypnotised or pretending to be? Cooper talks to Prof. John Gruzelier from Imperial College London who is researching the neuroscience of hypnosis. The second item on the programme brings us up to date with work to map out the human genome sequence.
