Village of the dolls.

Following a vicious physical assault by four teenagers, Mark Hogancamp was left with severe brain damage. His memory was destroyed and he had to learn how to do everything again, even basic functions such as walking and eating. He now lives his life through dolls in a miniature town, Marwencol, that he has created. This documentary looks at his life and the scenarios he has set up with his dolls and covers how his miniature world was first discovered. We see him experience his first exhibition which involved the dismantling and transportation of his town. Things become even more intriguing when Mark's doll alter ego begins to 'make' his own miniature world and photograph it.
