Acu-moxa chart: ophthalmology, Chinese MS

In this drawing, we see a male patient who is dependent on a little boy to guide him, having lost his sight due to internal ophthalmopathy (yanjing neizhang). The acupoints generally used to treat this condition are marked on his head, shoulder, hand, arm and leg. Yanjing neizhang is a Chinese medical term referring to various disorders involving the pupil and internal structures of the eye. It is treated with herbal drugs, often in conjunction with acupuncture and moxibustion.
