Description
Bible. N.T. Revelation 1.16; 19.15. Saint John the Evangelist kneels before the vision of Christ, shown here as described in the first vision of book 1 of Revelation. The later description of this image of Christ in book 19 has Christ wearing a robe dipped in blood. The book that John will write lies next to him. They are surrounded by the seven lampstands (Revelation 1.20) which represent the seven churches
