Description
An episode in a historical novel by Samuel Lover. Tullibardine is William Murray, styled second duke of Atholl and marquess of Tullibardine, who returns to Blair Castle in 1745 and carves the date on a tree on which thirty years earlier he had carved the date 1715. Ellen is a character in the novel
