Lettering

H.M. Brock. Formerly attached to backing sheet, an autograph letter from the artist at Arundine House, Madingley Road, Cambridge, to S. Sproston Esq., dated 20 August 1907, "Dear Sir, I have just sent off to you by rail a parcel containing my drawing which you saw at the R.A. & which you wished to purchase. I trust it will reach you safely. I should have sent it to you sooner but I have been getting the frame re-gilt. faithfully yours, H.M. Brock"
