Alternative medicine : trick or treatment?.

Sets out to expose the inadequacy of much alternative medicine, using the tragic example of a young cancer patient who rejected conventional treatment in favour of an uncoordinated variety of alternative therapies. It calls for controls to be imposed on the so far unregulated miscellany of practices, some undoubtedly disreputable, which shelter under the name of alternative medicine.
