Description

Tanacetum Parthenium (Feverfew) Artwork of herbs. Shows watercolour of sprig with daisey-like flowers and serated leaves. Has been used for treating fevers, migraine headaches, earache, arthritis and as a tonic. Used externally as an insect repellant and to relieve bites and stings. Also used in cooking to provide an aromatic bitter taste to foods, and in the drinks and perfume industries. It contains tannins, volatile oils, and sesquiterpene lactones, especially parthenolide.
