About this work

Description

Dr. Dee Dawson, Medical Director of the Rhodes Farm Clinic which specialises in treating eating disorders, presents this film which is aimed at young people of both sexes. Girls treated for anorexia and bulimia describe the progress of their illnesses and their accounts are punctuated by Dr. Dawson's advice on diet and appeals to commonsense over body image. Although usually associated with girls, boys too suffer from anorexia. However, none take part in this production.
