Description

There is another, later, view of the entrance to the mosque by Thomas and William Daniell, published in their series Oriental scenery, I, with the lettering "Gate leading to a Musjed, at Chunar Ghur". See Wellcome Collection catalogue no. 27675i, and Mildred Archer op. cit. where she makes extensive comparisons between the two views
