Signatures: A4 B-S8 T6.
Copy 1. Includes the folding plate with nine anatomical figures and two leaves of Birth figures. Full contemporary calf, rebacked. Central gilt centrepiece on upper and lower covers. Some contemporary marginal annotations. Signature on title page: Edward B. Sinclair ... 1857 (Sir Edward Burrowes Sinclair (1824-1882) was Professor of Midwifery at Trinity College Dublin from 1867). There are many annotations throughout, in a 19th century hand, probably by Sinclair.
