The mime on the left (Spring Rice?) holds a bottle and a string of sausages behind his back. Beyond him, Palmerston (?) holds a spy glass to watch the Queen. She has flower garlands around the skirt of her dress; she dances with a man dressed in a harlequin costume (Melbourne?). To the right of the harlequin, another man (Brougham) appears to dance wearing a long pointed hat and a tunic with a ruff, elongated sleeves and pom poms. Far right another mime (Burdett) raises one arm to his head as he holds a crutch in the other hand. A further figure wearing a plumed hat appears in the background (Russell?)
