The genealogical table of the Franconian line of the Hohenzollern starts with Friedrich I, Burggraf von Nürnberg (died 1201) to Friedrich III (1657-1713), who became King of Prussia in 1701 and was the father of Friedrich Wilhelm I (1688-1740), the "Soldier king"

Mayst: jetzo glückl: regire: herrn Inscribed on the mount: The above drawing of the Imperial arms of Germany and the embellishments around it which consist of small writing in the German toungue were both executed with a pen by Matthew Buckinger a German who was born without arms or legs on the 3d June 1674 and died in the County of Cork in Ireland about the year 1740
