(1) Endocarditis lenta, spontaneous recovery from infection (2) Agnesia of blindness and hemiplegia, and allied neurological manifestations. Notes and cuttings on related subjects, including:- chemotherapy, together with ligation for infection of patent ductus arterosis. Phantom limb phenomenon. 'Cortical' blindness (temporary or permanent). Cerebral cortex in regard to mental symptoms and perceptions (the brain as organ of mind). Cerebral causes of defects in perception and consciousness (FPW 1942). Also hysterical defects in perception (anaesthesia etc): [enclosed envelope] (For comparison). 'Central pain'.
