Description
Liesse in Picardy was the site of a chapel with a miraculous statue of the Virgin. It was a place of pilgrimage for many sick and distressed people seeking cures and aid. See Sieur J. de Saint Perès, Histoire miraculeuse de Nostre Dame de Liesse, Paris 1657
