Casks containing the new fresh lime juice issued in Mesopotamia as an antiscorbutic. The lime juice is specially made for the troops at Bombay. To each gallon of fresh juice 16 grains of salicylic acid and 10 ozs. of rectified spirit are added. It should be noted that lime juice is inferior to lemon juice or orange juice as an antiscorbutic
