Dialogue includes: Mr. McKenna (to presiding deity of International Medical Congress) "You look as if you knew all about microbes, sir. Couldn't you find me an antidote to this?" Mr. McKenna is holding a little monster who holds a hammer and a burning torch and the words "Militancy" emblazoned across its body. Possibly referring to militant suffragettes: cf. 'The Suffrage movement', The times (London) 24 July 1913: 12, "A revival of militancy. ... the miitant suffragettes have decided on a revival of militancy on a larger scale than before"
