084756/Z/08/Z: Me: Outside and In!

Project Summary:Me; Outside and In! is an artistic exploration of the unique conditions, abilities and bodies of a group of physically disabled artists. Participants all live in a residential centre for people with profound disability. They will work with experienced facilitators and professional artists to explore the story of their own body as it is affected by their various conditions, and treatments. They will work across a variety of disciplines (including visual art, music and performance to create an artistic dialogue about the perceptions of biomedical science at work both within and outside their bodies and their relationships with their bodies.
