Photograph of pen drawings by Jan Steen, depicting six scenes of laboratory and shop work relating to pharmacies, possibly as a frontispiece proof for Pharmacie anglaise de Charles Delacre catalogue 1889. This reproduction was made during the VI International Congress for the History of Medicine held in Leiden 1927 at the Exposition d'art Medico-Historique and is described as Tableaux [Painting] 34, Le mal d'amour, in the exhibition catalogue. The original painting is held by the Mauritshuis, The Hague (HdG 131). Related images: V0010744
