Project Summary:Artsadmin and DVDance are producing a series of eight 3- -minute films by artists about Charles Darwin and The Origin of the Species. In a year packed with Darwin activity, the films by these remarkable artists offer another perspective - unorthodox, political, humorous, and unexpected. The artists are: Ackroyd and Harvery, Bobby Baker, Anne Bean, Lucy Cash, Curious, Graeme Miller, Henry Montes and Lemn Sissay. Channel 4 will broadcast four of the films in February 09, and hopefully the other four films in November 09. All eight films will be shown at museums in the UK and internationally through 2009, and on related websites.
