Drawing of the profile of Peking Man (Homo erectus pekinensis) with the caption "The lately discovered Pekin Man (Sinathropus pekinensis): a Pleistocene contemporary of Pithecanthropus and Piltdown Man, more like the latter in the lower jaw." The caption of the unseen image above is also visible. The illustration comes from an unknown publication and was used in the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum's "Pre-history Gallery" in the 1930s.
