Description

An instructional film for doctors giving information about anterior polio myelitis (also known as infant paralysis, although it also affects adults). Captioned sections include information on age and incidence, symptoms and signs. Examination procedures are described and illustrated, as is the procedure for taking a lumbar puncture, plus details on how the disease is thought to be spread. Finally a GP completes a notification form which has to be sent to the Medical Officer of Health.
