Description
Photograph of an anatomical female model or manikin in wax, probably from Florence, late 18th century, attributed to Clemente Susini (previously attributed to Anna Morandi Manzolini). The model has been laid on a table and photographed from above with some organs removed. The model was accessioned by the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum on 7th December 1951 (R205/1951) and is now held by the Science Museum (A627043).
