Includes nine cuttings reporting on Dr Theo Hyslop's address to the Society for the Study of Inebriety on "The Influence of Parental Alcoholism on the Physique and Ability of Offspring", and eleven cuttings. mainly from the temperance perspective, on Karl Pearson and Edith M Elderton's study of families in Edinburgh and Manchester, which found children of alcoholic parents to be in better condition than those of non-alcoholic parents.
