Photocopy of an original typescript text signed by Balfour and dated 16 October, 1919. Heading: "The London Tropical School of Medicine".
Anecdotal speech, beginning: "I would ask you to charge your glasses to the brim, for the toast which I now have the honour of submitting to you is the toast of the evening. It is that of the London School of Tropical Medicine and is, as you will see, coupled, as is but right and fitting, with the name of its Dean, Sir Havelock Charles."
