Acute haemoglobinuria and the various classes of acute haemolytic anaemia. Haemolytic anaemia from sulphonamides. Acute haemolytic anaemia connected with pregnancy. 'Macrocytic haemolytic anaemia' (after L S P Davidson). Macrocytic anaemias connected with hepatic cirrhosis etc, and with intestinal absorption defects. Differential diagnosis between the various macrocytic anaemias. 'Achrostic anaemia' (Wilkinson and Israels). Secondary or symptomatic haemolytic anaemias (?chronic or sub-acute).
