Photograph of a reconstruction of a parting laboratory (assay room) as operated in the mining and metallurgical industry in the time of Agricola (circa 1550). The reconstruction was part of an exhibition at the Deutsche Museum, Munich, Germany. The photograph was acquired by the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum and accessioned in 1937 (accession number PHO 10221)
