Description
A black and white reproduction of an oil painting of Saint Roch by Santa Cruz. Saint Roch, depicted as a young man with a halo and wearing a pilgrim's garb. He has a grey and red plague-bubo on his right thigh, spouting blood, which is being blessed by a kneeling angel, left. In the background, a landscape including a city (perhaps meant to be Piacenza). The registration number for this object is R4761/1936 and was registered on the 22nd of June 1936 and its entry can be found in the Museums Accession register here. Related images: V0017392
