Medical Commonplace book with some other material, 1825-28 [ faint ink name ?"Dr Bruce" on front cover]
A compilation of medical recipes and comments and other material, many marked "Id[em]" to indicate that they were extracted from the same source as an immediately previous entry, and other extracts from reports in the press.
There is a mention, on loose leaves between pp 24 and 25, headed "Birchington", concerning "Aucupuncuture [sic: i.e. acupuncture] pratised by the Japanese [sic], and burning with Moxa"
