These files were in a numbered series with the prefix 'B'. The original arrangement has been retained, although there were some gaps in the sequence. Annotations on some file covers, however, indicate that other classification scheme(s) had also pertained at previous points. All these original file references, where they appeared on file covers, are recorded in the 'Previous references' field.
