Description
Three cabinet card-style photographs of Scottish fisherwomen, Dutch fisherwomen and Belgian fisherwomen, 1883, and two photographs of a map of Lake Victoria. Framed photograph of two blind men and one blind woman, annotated on reverse "The portrait of Blind men that started the well known advertisement". Handwritten note describing a book of photographs. Two advertisements for the London Stereoscopic and Photographic Company, one for the Great International Fisheries Exhibition 1883 and the other advertising their products. One carte de visite-style photograph of schoolchildren and one photograph of a man described as "the last of the Cannibals".
