Engraved poster advertising the touring Liliputian Opera Company's performances. Details of their season at the Piccadilly Hall, London, from Monday, November 22nd, 1880 have been pasted over the top of the original heading line (upper 2 lines missing on our copy - the British Library have a more complete one) which reads (in blue type): At Brighton Beach Bathing Pavillion. The company toured the world, making their debut in Sydney in 1881. The poster shows a chained, bearded giant being fed by his 10 jailers.
