Cucino, Lodovico

Letter-book containing copies of correspondence mainly between Cucino and the Proveditori alla Sanità of Venice: dated 1555-1558. Produced in Venice.

1 volume ff. 3-103. 4to. 21 x 14 cm. 18th cent. vellum binding. The first two leaves and all after fol. 103 are wanting. Many leaves foxed.

Purchased 1905.

Cucino was 'Medico dell' Officio della Sanità as well as 'Medico dell' Officio' to both the New and Old Lazarettos, and the letters deal mainly with these two hospitals.
