Reproduction of an mezzoprint portrait of Oliver Cromwell (1599-1658) dressed in armour, an English general and Lord Protector of the British Isles from 1653-1658. The mezzotint was published by C. Bowles after Lely, and the Wellcome Institute held (or holds) an impression of the print, which could not be identified in the catalogue.
