Description
In the first of a two part series, Graham Easton traces the history of the laboratory mouse and assesses the important role it has played in key medical and scientific breakthroughs of the last 50 years. In this first programme, Easton visits the Jackson Memorial Laboratory in Maine where Clarence Cook Little studied mice in 1909. He also visits the Medical Research Council's Mouse Genome Centre in Harwell.
