Description
Two images on one negative: the first is a line drawing of the front and rear side of the Pictish stone known as the "Battle Stone" at Mortlach, Scotland. The caption reads "Upright cross-slab with sculpture partly incised and partly in relief at Mortlach." The drawing comes from an unknown publication. The second is a line drawing of the front and rear side of the Pictish stone known as the "Ulbster Stone" original from Ulbster, Scotland but now in Thurso Museum. The caption reads "Upright cross-slab with sculpture partly incised and partly in relief, from Ulbster, now at Thurso. Diagrams showing ornament." The drawing comes from an unknown publication.
