Description

Both are richly dressed. The man holds a sword in his right hand. The woman holds a closed fan (apparently) in each hand. The man holds a flower and a reddish-brown package (of perfumed powders?)

Lettering

Tulucar otherwise called Moorish cast. Worship Mahomet. Language Moorish and Hindustanee. Reside on the coast. Wives like all Moorman kept strictly at home. Man going about the streets selling all kinds of smelling powders and waters which they prepare themselves.
