Two images on one glass plate negative. The first is a reproduction of a portrait of Thomas Robert Malthus (1766- 1834) from Larousse Universal, volume 2, page 141. Paris: Librairie Larousse, 1923. A photographic reproduction of the engraving is held by Wellcome Collection. Related images: V0028742. The second image is a black and white reproduction of a bird's-eye view photograph of Joyce Green Hospital (Dartford, England) captioned "Joyce Green (Fever) Hospital, near Dartford". Only the portrait is listed in the "M" series glass plate negative register: M0000731-M000495.
