Similar to the eds. of 1598 and later (STC 21160, etc.) but evidently earlier. The work was entered in the Stationers Company Registers by R. Watkins (son-in-law of Richard Jugge) on 5 Oct. 1588. The anatomical figures on G2r-3r and X2, and the birth figures on G3v-5r, whereas all the following eds. collate A4 B-O8 with anatomical figures on G2r-4r and birth figures on H6r-7v.
