    Provisional Cunningham Sf Corbin's Improved Extract for Preparing Paths. an agent which is to be dissolved in order to prepare or produce the required bath. We take sea weed, sea wrack, or fuci, from which we prepare an extract. The mode we recommend is to prepare such extract in vacuo. We then iodize it by the use of iodide of potassium, or other suitable 5 alkaline, or other salt containing iodine. We next pass ozone through the iodized extract. This ozone frees the iodine from its combination with the alkali or base. The product is then ready for being dissolved when required for use in the preparation or production of a bath. SPECIFICATION in pursuance of the conditions of the Letters Patent, 10 filed by the said James Glencairn Cunningham and Joseph Corbin in the Great Seal Patent Office on the 5th August 1872. TO ALL TO WHOM THESE PRESENTS SHALL COME, we, James Glencairn Cunningham, of Ramsgate, in the County of Kent, Chemist, and Joseph Corbin, formerly of the same Place, Manager of the Granville Hotel, and now of Hastings, in the County of Sussex, send greeting.
