Photograph of a model parturition or birthing stool based on a 14th century design. The item was previously part of the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum but is not held by Wellcome Collection. Another photograph of this image was accessioned by the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum on 25th April 1936 (PHO 7949).
