Project Summary:‘Matters of Life and Death’ consists of two dialogue events as part of the Newcastle Science Festival from 12–21 March 2010. One debate examines stem cell research, specifically the use of stem cells to create artificial gametes. The other debate explores ageing and euthanasia. Both events involve cutting-edge local research. The debate on ageing will be webcast live and then archived on Fora.tv.
