Description

Display of surgical instruments from the Harmonic collection: 15th and 16th century surgical knives, 16th century lithotrite and early and late 17th century syringes. They were acquired by the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum and accessioned in 1936 (accession numbers R3676/1936, R3656/1936, R3655/1936, R3662/1936 and R1366/1936) but are not held by Wellcome Collection.
