Description

Image of a brass microscope on a wooden base made by Bartesago in the mid eighteenth century in France. The Nachet Collection was a large set of microscopes collected by Albert Nachet and acquired by the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum (accession number 60980). The microscope is not held by Wellcome Collection.
